[ Her shrewd gaze narrows on his face seriously for a moment before she gives a small sigh.

And then reaches up to lightly flick him on the nose. ]

You worry too much. It's going to give you wrinkles.

[ he jumps a little in surprise at the flick, rubbing his nose indignantly (and dramatically. really, ihxi'wo, it was a light flick.) ]

Hey-! [ he whines, before sticking his tongue out at her. ]

I do not worry too much. I worry just the right amount for someone in my particular situation, thank you very much. Besides, who said I was worried? Can I not simply miss spending time with you all?

[ although now he doesn't seem to remember WHY he would!! ]

[ She replies this airily as she tugs him along, laughter lurking in her gaze. ]

And if I didn't know you so well, I might even be fooled by that. But you, sir, are a worrywort. Especially when your hands are tied in solving a particular problem. You're more like to wear a hole in the floor with your fretting.

[ ...She should know. She's exactly the same way. ]

[ despite the put-upon look on his face, he continues to allow her to lead him along. really, it is true that he wants to be with his closest friends... but it's also even more true that he's worried. she has his number, but he can't be too upset about it, knowing how she is herself. ]

Well, if I didn't wear a hole in the floor someone else would. So really, I'm providing a service. [ really...! but, on that note, ]

But, yes, alright- I'm worried. But! I still think I'm allowed to be, and you won't convince me otherwise. I don't see any wrinkles on your face, after all, so I'm sure I'll be safe.

You wouldn't see them on my face even if they were there. [ She admonishes him with a faint sniff, but there's laughter in her eyes as she chides him. ] Also, it's very rude to mention a lady's wrinkles to her face.

[ .... As if she were actually a lady in the first place, let alone one who cared about that.

But she does cast him a mischievous wink as she winds them down one of the staircases to their destination. A food stall, in fact, on that had only opened up recently and one she's sure he's not had a chance to try yet. There are little tables set up in front of it, brightly colored umbrellas offering shade, and the tantalizing scent of fresh-baked pastries and sweets filling the air. ]

Make sure you don't ever mention such a thing to Y'shtola...
