I don't think it's selfish. [ he answers, sincerity in his voice as he twists his head to glance at her. ]

To have childhood dreams or wishes. Or... adulthood dreams and wishes, really. [ but she does have a point about the "not realizing what comes along with that." he turns he head back up to the sky, thoughtful. ]

If we don't have any, then we're just sort of... floating, aren't we? [ a poet he is not, but ihxi'wo remembers his own childhood well- remembers going along with the flow and pushing down any of his own wishes and dreams until he was forced to leave and his lack of direction came crashing down upon his head. perhaps he's feeling reckless- because he continues in his questions. ]

Let me hear one, then. A small one. A place you wanted to see, or something you wanted to learn to do, or something like that.

[ That.... that is a complicated question. And so many of her old wishes and dreams are tied to a life that will never be. A life that had ended in the span of one night and haunts her even now.

Reluctant to wade back into those old shadows of pain and fear and grief, she instead does her best to keep the topic light, picking one of the more silly wishes instead. ]

I wanted to cut off all my hair! Or find a spell that would let me magic it to be a different color, at the very least.

[ he can't help but let out a surprised laugh at that. he's glad she was able to find something sillier to mention- but, it is kind of funny, after all. ]

You could still do that! I'm sure you'd look nice with short hair. Or no hair, or bright orange hair-

I'm not going no hair. [ She laughs as she shakes her head. ] Can you imagine how cold that would be? I'd have to avoid Ishgard for like a year!

...Although bright orange might be eye-catching...
